We made it easy track candidates!

We are happy to introduce our new automated Candidate Tracking flow!

The new candidate tracking system allows Hiring Managers and Recruiters to easily track job candidates from first contact  to the hiring stage.

The talent acquisition funnel comes with seven successive stages built-in. As the hiring team conducts interviews, scores the results and makes a hiring decision, candidates are automatically moved to the appropriate stage.

Candidate list

The informative candidate card widget makes it easy to compare applicants, view resumes, and video interviews. Convenient filters and sorting modes now also include the ability to view candidates by their interview stage. This allows to quickly find the desired candidate or figure out the next steps.

Google Assistant is integrated into EasyHire!

Google Assistant is integrated into EasyHire!

Searching on EasyHire via Google Assistant is available now.

Candidates can find and apply to any jobs via Google Assistant using any type of devices which support this technology. Manager just should publish a job on our EasyHire board and Google Assistant will find it.

Google assistant is provide quick job searching and applying absolutely for all candidates with different capabilities.

To take advantage of this, the candidate simply has to say the phrase “Talk to EasyHire”, “Find EasyHire” and etc. Google assistant will help to candidates find all the information he needs about the desired job.

Google assistant functions in EasyHire will expand in the future.

The On-demand and Live interview playback room became more comfy to use! All options like candidate’s written answer, attachments, video questions are located in separate tabs, resulting in a simpler user interface.

If you’re taking advantage of our Assessment interviews, it’s now really easy to view and grade candidate’s answers:

Easyhire.me knows how busy you and your recruiters are.  We also know how passionate you are about finding and screening talent for your team! In order to save your time, we created a special Introduction and Thank-you videos. They can be included in any of your question sets. The video is recorded in high quality and is accompanied by subtitles, which will help even the non-English-speaking candidates to understand.

The Introduction Video explains candidates about the interview process, the types of questions and how the recording works.

You can add The Introduction video to your question sets by completing the following steps:
1. Go to the Questions section and select a question set;
2. Double click on Configure Introduction line;

 

3. Select Easyhire.me Introduction video from the dropdown menu and Save

In the “Thank you” message, we thank candidates for their time and tell what happens after the interview.
Look at the “Thank you” message and feed it to your sets of questions:

You can add this video in the same way as Introduction, using the Configure Thank You message form and selecting the Easyhire.me Thank You Message video.

Make your video interview more friendly and special!

It is very important to make the video interview process easy and comfortable for the candidate. Easyhire.me took care of the usability of the platform and in order to make the interview more comfortable for the candidate, we give managers the opportunity to record a video introduction and “Thank you” message for on-demand and assessment interviews.

The video could explain to candidates in a simple and positive way how to take an interview. The survey showed that such videos relieve stress before the interview and help the candidate feel more comfortable while recording video.

 

In this article we will explain in more detail how to do it.

In your introduction video you can share with candidates information about your company, greet him/her or advise how to behave in an interview. You can create new question set or add a video introduction to old question set.  Open the menu and click on Configure button.

In order to thank the candidate for the completed interview and tell how feedback will be provided you should configure “Thank you” message. Record your own video or add a link from YouTube.

We’re sure you’ve seen a bulk of emails from different websites mentioning their changes in their privacy policy due to GDPR. But if you haven’t seen one yet and has no idea what GDPR is, then let us explain. GDPR or General Data Protection Regulation is a global data protection law passed by the European Union that shifts the ownership of customer data from the organizations that use it to the individual customer. All eyes are on the appropriate protection of customers’ private information and to comply is a must! But if you’re at a lost on what you need to change to be GDPR compliant, read on for a checklist of what you need to sort out.

 

Explicit Customer Consent

It’s now a must to ask customers first before processing or storing their data. The request not only needs to be clear and see but it also must be done so in a straightforward way by using easy to understand language. Silence or inactivity from the side of the customer should not be taken as a yes and companies that use their info must be able to prove that they received approval. Also, your customers now have the right to withdraw consent upon request in a reasonable timeframe.

 

Get A Data Protection Officer (DPO) If You Can

Hiring someone who specializes in data protection can save you a lot of worries. Your DPO is your point person to ensure GDPR compliance. This is especially important for companies larger than 10 to 15 employees that process personal data on daily basis and in sheer numbers. But what does the DPO role actually do? The role entails:

  • Regular and systematic monitoring of data on a large scale
  • Processing on a large scale of special categories of data

 

Conduct A Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA)

You’ll definitely need to conduct a data protection impact assessment if your company stores personal data in a permanent storage. This should be done before any project should be carried out and it’s basically an audit within the company that will allow you to measure the effectivity of safeguarding the privacy of the individuals whose data you store. The DPIA aims to achieve these three:

  • Compliance with applicable legal, regulatory and policy requirements
  • Establish the risks and effects
  • Evaluates protections and alternative processes to mitigate privacy risks

 

Data Breach Policies

There will always be substantial risks when it comes to storing data. And Data Breach policies ensure that your customers’ trusts will be kept intact in case of the worse scenarios – which is data breach. The GDPR requires companies to notify local data protection authorities of any data breach situation within 72 hours of discovery. And yes, this means that every company will need the kind of technology that will allow them to detect and address breaches within a certain timeframe. Note as well that this is one of the stricter GDPR requirements and you may have to overhaul your internal data security policies for this.

 

Giving Them The Right to Opt-Out

Deleting personal data not only minimizes the amount of data each company has to keep but also gives customers the freedom to choose. So if a certain data is not needed or has been requested to be deleted, then the answer is yes delete it. And as mentioned, customers have every right to request to be taken off email lists and other such lists that a company may have that they store for marketing or other such purposes.

We have recently added many cool features to the EasyHire platform. Below is a list of new features that we added lately:

1. Mobile video interview – Your candidates can take the video interviews from their mobile from anywhere, at any time.  EasyHire offers a seamless interview experience across desktop, Android, and iOS devices. Check out more on mobile video interviews here.

2. SMS notification – You can configure SMS notification to receive alerts when interviews are completed by the candidates.

3. Email personalization – With EasyHire email template editor, you can personalize the emails that are sent out to candidates.  You can personalize the interview invitations, reminders and notification emails that are sent out the candidates.

4. Setting up multiple interviews – You can now upload a CSV file with a list of candidates and set up interviews for multiple candidates with a single click.

5. Redesigned the interview room – We have redesigned the interview room with a slick look. Your candidates will love the interview experience.

The interview process is unique to each organization. It depends on the type of the job, the role, and the level. Some roles emphasize the candidate’s communication and presentation skills whereas others give more importance to domain knowledge and skill set.
